The Experience!
Melville's is a family owned campground located on the beautiful shores of Saddlebag lake with six connecting lakes in Marcellus, Michigan.
The campground features 100 sites to accommodate almost any size and type of camping unit from tent to class A RV's with slide outs. Sites have 30/50 amp electric and water hookup. The campground has a dump station and offers a weekly pump out service for campers.
The Story

He had a vision.....They were a hardworking and devoted couple.
In the beginning she used a lantern hanging from a nearby tree for light where she sat for hours in an old motorhome/camper....Taking reservations and making friends.
Their brown bag meals were kept in a cooler, and she watched as he creatively carved roads out of the hillsides with his bulldozer, crane, front end loader and helping hands.
They had no electric, no running water, no heater or air conditioning, but they had a vision, a dream and determination.
43 years later, here we are!
